Accounting offices, online shops and teams that handle customer paperwork often need to shrink a PDF, convert an image or read text from a photo. iToolers tools run in the browser on your own machine, so the file is not uploaded to our servers.
What “files never leave your device” means here
What actually happens
- Images, PDF, Word, Excel, CSV and audio are processed in the browser. Neither contents nor filenames are uploaded.
- You can check for yourself: open the Network tab of your browser’s developer tools while you work.
- We keep anonymous per-tool usage counts, never file contents.
Exceptions and limits to know
- The short-link and TikTok tools use servers because they work with links, not local files.
- Using iToolers does not by itself make your organisation PDPA-compliant; your duties as a data controller remain yours. It removes one place where personal data would be sent.
- We claim no certification or standard. Our privacy policy lists everything we do collect. Read it

Receipts and tax invoices
Checkout has optional fields for your company name and 13-digit tax ID. We use them to prepare a receipt in your company’s name. The operator is not currently VAT-registered, so the price is final and a full VAT tax invoice cannot be issued.
