How rights holders can ask us to remove or block a link, and how we handle repeat infringers.

1. Our role
iToolers does not host, upload or keep copies of videos that users download. The TikTok downloader takes a link from the user, fetches the public video from TikTok, and streams it on to the user’s own browser only for the duration of the transfer, without saving it on our server. The original remains only on TikTok.
The only content we do store is short links that users create (destination URL and management data), which we can delete or suspend.
The most effective way to remove a video is to report it at the source platform, for example through TikTok’s copyright reporting tool. Once the video is removed or made private, our downloader can no longer fetch it.
2. How to send a notice
Email us at the address below with the following details so we can act quickly. We aim to acknowledge within 3 business days.
- Your name, email and contact details, or those of the rights holder you represent
- The work you hold rights in, and evidence of ownership or authority to act (a link to the original is fine)
- The exact URL(s) to block or remove, such as the TikTok video link or the itoolers.com short link involved
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them
- Your signature (a typed full name is fine)
3. What we do
When a notice is complete we will review it and may: delete or suspend the short link involved, block the specified URL or video from being processed by the downloader, and restrict repeat infringers. We will tell you the outcome by email.
For now, blocking is done manually by the owner on request. A server-side blocklist that keeps a blocked URL blocked automatically is planned but not yet in place.
4. If you think we made a mistake
If your short link was removed or suspended and you believe this was a mistake, or you have rights in the content, email us with the link, your reasons and contact details. We will review it and may pass your response to the person who sent the notice.
Please be accurate: knowingly false notices can carry legal liability.
5. Repeat infringers and abuse
We do not accept use of the service to infringe copyright repeatedly. If a user or network is tied to several infringements, we may delete all of their short links, permanently block access to the downloader and short links, and notify relevant providers where needed.
Anyone can report an abusive short link using the Report tab in the short links tool.
