Choose the original encoding

Automatic detection is a guess. If Thai text looks wrong, try UTF-8 or Windows-874 / TIS-620 and check the preview. Characters already replaced by ? or � may be unrecoverable.

Keep IDs and leading zeros

This tool keeps values as text without converting IDs, dates or phone numbers. Spreadsheet apps may still convert them when opening the file; import those columns as text. CSV does not store Excel data types.

Check formula-like values

Protection prefixes an apostrophe to formula-like values and shows the changed values in the preview. Behavior can vary by app and after re-saving. Import untrusted data as text.
