EXIF orientation is applied and every image is re-encoded as 8-bit, 92% quality JPEG. Metadata, color profiles, transparency, and higher bit depth may be removed or changed, and images may soften slightly.

Choose the right layout
Keep each image’s proportions
Image-sized pages use 96 DPI after orientation correction, so page sizes may differ. This does not add detail to the original image.
Check text and colors
Images are re-encoded as 8-bit JPEG at 92% quality. Transparency becomes white; original metadata and color profiles are not retained. There is no OCR, so text in images remains unsearchable and cannot be copied. Keep your originals.
